Who is J. Christopher?
J. Christopher Johnson is a dedicated activist, grassroots organizer, and strategic planner with a passion for creating change and promoting social equity. A graduate of Dillard University and currently pursuing his Master of Social Work at the Dr. Millie M. Charles School of Social Work housed on the campus of Southern University at New Orleans, he made history as the youngest candidate to run for Louisiana's 2nd Congressional District in the 2021 special election.
As the Founding Executive Director of the Mobilizing Millennials Organization, J. Christopher leads a non-profit focused on advancing civic engagement and political literacy through workshops and seminars. He has also contributed to the New Orleans Youth Alliance, On Track to College Success, and CK Life Education and Pathways. J. Christopher's work empowers young people and he has served in key roles in education and employment opportunities. One of his most rewarding roles was his appointment as Chief Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief of Staff for Second City Court of Orleans Parish. He is also the founder and visionary founder of the Tabernacle of Truth Charismatic Christian Assembly, a judgment-free worship movement. J. Christopher is currently an associate with the Teamer Strategy Group, LLC.
